“The photo shoot had the biggest effect on me because I was all put together.
“I had my skin care treatment, my new clothes on, and my hair and makeup done. I felt like a completely different and new person! Although I have never really enjoyed having my picture taken, I felt more confident after having the makeover. So many people complimented me during the makeover and I had many more people give me compliments after the makeover. I will continue working on building my confidence!”

Personalized Skin Care from Lisa Chism, RN at Simply Beautiful Medical Spa
Lisa: Sandy and I consulted first and then we performed a Vitamin C facial, which helps exfoliate and freshen the skin with immediate results. I applied a Vitamin C serum for skin brightness, HydroPeptide Face Lift moisturizer that is infused with peptides for skin tightness and smaller pores. Sandy said her skin felt better, softer and cleaner. I sent her with home with Oxygen Cleanser, 5x Power Peel, which has AHAs for exfoliation, Phloretin CF Gel, which is a Vitamin C serum, and HydroPeptide Face Lift Moisturizer loaded with anti-aging peptides.
Sandy had never had any type of skin treatment and didn’t know what to expect. After we talked a while, she relaxed and ended up just as excited as I was to get her skin into optimal health! Hair Cut, Color, and Style from Sabrina Ullman at Salon Contrast
Sabrina: Sandy was very friendly, and I think she felt special and pampered.
Sandy: Next up was my hair appointment with Sabrina at Salon Contrast. It took me a long time to decide what I wanted because it has been a looooooong time since I had my hair colored. Sabrina did an amazing job and the results were exactly what I wanted.
Clothing and Accessories from Ashley Hunter at Posh Boutique
Ashley: Posh provided a gorgeous tunic dress with embroidered detail on the sleeves and around the neckline. We had fun accessorizing the dress with a multi-stone necklace, a big statement bracelet, rhinestone drop earrings, and a beautiful pair of rhinestone cork wedges.
It was a wonderful experience and Posh was happy to help out. Working with someone as kind and grateful as this contest winner was so much fun! I think she was very pleased and happy with how beautifully the outfit complimented her. At Posh, we strive to help everyone discover their inner beauty, and we hope we made a difference in doing so. Now she can be the confident, beautiful woman she is.
Sandy: Next, I tried on clothes at Posh Boutique. After the whirlwind of trying on lots of clothes, we decided on a beautiful cream dress with leggings. Ashley and Jennifer paired the outfit with some wedges and breath-taking jewelry!
Makeup Application from Loren Flowers at Panacea Day Spa and Salon
Sandy: After hair, Jennifer took me to Bamboo Gardens for some delicious sushi. It was amazing, and after lunch we headed over to Panacea Day Spa and Salon for my makeup. Lauren Flowers did a great job on my makeup. So many people commented on how great my eyebrows looked.
