Family: Husband, Bill (Rolling Meadows Mobile Home Estates), Children, Jessica, 22, Billy, 20, Michael, 17, Katie, 16, David, 14, Christopher, 12 and Lauren, 9 and YES they are ALL mine and Bill’s TOGETHER – I birthed every one of them!!!
Beauty secret/regimen: My favorite beauty regimen is cleansing my face, neck, and décolletage area every day with Neutrogena Grapefruit Scrub and my Clarisonic. It seems to diminish fine lines and uneven skin color for me.
Makeup: My makeup rotates around three brands: Clinique, Estee’ Lauder, and MAC.
Boutique: We have several nice options here in Mountain Home. I am NOT a fan of shopping – at all. My three daughters would love to shop 24/7, and I am good to go once a month. So I am a fan of the boutiques verses department stores (they tend to overwhelm me)!
Place to lunch with girlfriends: Blackbird Café and House of Pizza!
Restaurant for an evening out: My favorite place to go for a really nice night out with my husband is P.J.’s. If we happen to be in Branson, it is Cantina Larado.
Spot for a picnic: Out on the boat. Summer evening wine & cheese picnics are the best!
Body of water: The Caribbean!
Way to spend an evening: Actually, we are so busy most of the time with all the kids and their activities that an evening with nothing to do is a rarity. But if the opportunity does arise, we grab a bite to eat at El Chico or Chilis, head home, and lay in bed and watch movies. I love to watch movies with my husband, although he usually falls asleep!
Outdoor activity: Playing a family whiffle ball or basketball game. If I am by myself, I LOVE to run and pray or meditate. That is how I relieve stress.
Way to relax: A glass of wine and watching a movie while receiving one of my husband’s amazing backrubs!
Advice for younger women: Think before you speak, and always be true to God and yourself.
Bedtime ritual: Take all of my vitamins and supplements ( I take quite a few), brush my teeth, wash my face with Neutrogena Grapefruit wash, apply Clinique anti-aging moisturizer, and put on my Nivea lip balm.
Favorite movie: This is corny, but Pretty Woman is my all-time favorite. The Notebook runs a close second.
Vacation: My favorite vacation with my husband was to the Cayman Islands. I do enjoy our family trips when we all (the whole family, like 35 of us) go on a cruise—now that is always fun!
Way to celebrate a friend: I always want to be a good friend, so I always try to be a supportive and I try to be a good listener. I love to sit and have lunch or get a pedicure with my best girlfriend and just talk and laugh!
10 things every woman should have: Patience, love, humor, a feeling of purpose, good friends, a Clarisonic, good makeup, lots of shoes, a big purse, and a great smile!
3 words that describe you: Compassionate, calm, and blessed!
What you love about April/May: I love springtime! I love it because I DETEST winter—I hate snow! So seeing all the beautiful green grass and flowers blooming makes me so happy. I love to see God’s beauty in nature around me!
Dream for the future: My dream for the future is for all of my children to live long, happy, healthy, Christian lives!
What people might not know about me: I love to sing. I’m not very good, but I love to do it! I put on the best “on the road” concerts, so if you see me out driving, just know that I am not talking to myself!
