Marvelous! welcomes Dr. Robin and Tracy Myers to the Twin Lakes Area. Dr. Myers is the new chancellor at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. We asked each of them to choose three words that describe them, and to answer five questions. Here are their answers.

What I love about education
The thing I love most about education is the positive impact you are able to have on the lives of students. Helping others achieve their goals is a rewarding experience.
What I’m passionate about
I am passionate about conducting one’s life with honor and integrity. The sum of everything you are, and everything you have done, will be measured by these values.
The best advice I’ve ever been given
The best advice I was ever given was to continue my education.
My favorite way to relax
I enjoy playing golf as a way to relax. It is a great way to exercise and enjoy the outdoors.
What I wish people knew about me
I wish that everyone knew how excited and honored I am to have the opportunity to move to Mountain Home and serve as chancellor of ASUMH. I would also like for everyone to know how blessed and thankful my family and I are to have received such a warm welcome from everyone we have encountered in the Mountain Home area.

What I love about education
I have worked in the field of education for the last 28 years. I enjoy seeing the changes that occur when children improve their life situations because of education.
What I’m passionate about
I am passionate about improving the life of speech-impaired children and adults. It is just the greatest feeling if you can help another person improve.
The best advice I’ve ever been given
The best advice I have been given is to surround yourself with good people.
My favorite way to relax
I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I also enjoy the lake and fishing.
What I wish people knew about me
I wish people knew how excited we are to move to Mountain Home and become part of the wonderful community.
