Doris on being a woman rider in a man’s world:
When I started riding, you didn’t see many women riding a motorcycle. My husband said he thought he had the only motorcycle mama until I joined the Motor Maids. When I first started riding motorcycles, riders did not have a very good reputation, but now you see all types of people riding. We have friends who are doctors, lawyers, nurses, and from all walks of life.
