Marilyn Doran
Marilyn Doran has managed Fred Berry Conservation Education Center on Crooked Creek for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission since its opening in 2005. It is located near the Kelley’s Slab Access in Yellville. She taught science at Flippin Middle School for 14 years previous to that. In 2005 she and her husband, Terry, purchased a piece of property on the White River that her grandfather used to plow with a team of mules. They own and operate Blue Heron Campground and Resort on the river near Cotter.
