In July of 2010, Mountain Home’s Jan Price was diagnosed with breast cancer. She knew that meant she would lose her hair.
“I chose hats, because wigs are hot, and working at our store, Shady Grove Country Store, I knew wigs would absorb grease from the grill,” Jan says.
She ordered plain hats, hats with sequins, and one with bows, and had fun choosing one every day.
“Everyone who comes into the store comments on my hats,” she says. “I always love picking which one to wear, each day, to match my outfit!”
